We live in a very technology based world,
Even the kids are technical these days...
So when we were given the opportunity to check out the
we were very excited!
Some of the highlights...
InnoTab® 3S Learning Tablet:
- The InnoTab® 3S features VTech Kid Connect– an exclusive communication app that allows kids to be connected with their parents and friends through both tablet-to-mobileand tablet-to-tablet communication
- The new 3S comes with a rechargeable battery pack with AC adapter and a kid-safe web browser
- The new InnoTab 3S continues to provide access to VTech’s Learning Lodge™ app store, plus it comes packed with 20 free apps
- Ages 3-9
- All for under $100
Folks, that rechargable battery pack with AC adapter? That right there...is HUGE.
I cannot begin to tell you how much I despise battery sucking toys...
But I do love that you can use regular AA batteries in here, OR, the rechargeables...hello! On the go convenience!
Here's a shot of the back of the InnoTab® 3S Learning Tablet, with one side showing what the rechargeable batteries look like, and one side with regular double AA batteries.
It's a pretty nifty KID-FRIENDLY, little piece of technology, and while it's a bit pricey for a child's 'toy' if you will - it's definitely not a budget buster, coming in at just under $100. When you think of all of the places you could use this tablet, I think it's easy to find it a great deal. There are so many educational apps, and regular old fun and games too, of course.
I could tell you lots more about it, or, you can watch this short video below which gives it an amazing once over too!
For some reason, homework doesn't feel like *work* when you are learning on a tablet.
So far, our favorites have been the Math Apps, where the kids are able to test themselves on addition and subtraction problems. The kids are flying through Math at their new school thus far, but I love being able to reinforce what they already know, while introducing new challenges too.
Man, I never grow tired of listening to these two reading together, solving problems together.
The holidays are right around the corner - Maybe you've got a special someone you'd love to gift with one of these awesome
InnoTab3S Tablets?
Well, thanks to the fine folks at VTech, I've got one to give away to one lucky reader!
