Singing Along ~

99% of the time, I am ok with being on our own - having no family around town to come over, hang out, babysit!!

But the one time it really, really felt lonely?

When our firstborn had her kindy sing-a-long last week...
Wow - Is there anything more adorable than 100 5 & 6 year olds singing their hearts out?

I did take some video - but it was my first time using my camera's video capabilities, so it wasn't the greatest camera work - plus, I had a squirrely 5 year old sitting next to me with his 4 year old buddy that I occasionally had to hold hands with, so as to keep them from bugging each other! HA HA!

Ah, what a sweet sweet afternoon.
I may or may not have shed a tear or twenty...

Both out of pride seeing our girl up on the risers, singing her heart out, blossoming as she finds her place in this big wide world, and, for the fact that I would love nothing more than to be sitting next to my own Mom during an event like this - as life comes around full circle.

We love you Hailey Elizabeth - You were so amazing and we are so proud of who you are becoming!
