Friday night offered up a chance at **Girls Night Out** ~ Pun Intended.
My friend Missy from Marketing Mama was hosting an event in conjunction with Macy's -
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month & Wacoal's Fit for the Cure events at Macy's ~ Wacoal is donating $2 for every woman who gets fit to Komen for the Cure, and an additional $2 for any Wacoal purchase...
Missy, always looking to have a charitably angle on the events she organizes, did another remarkable job! (Registration closed at 75 women, though many many more wanted to come!)
Delightful beverages and appetizers were butler passed, right there in the intimates department!!

And a DJ stayed busy mixing music while we did our thing...
Nancy and Me...
The fit specialists were wonderful - upbeat, positive, reassuring!!
I was a little anxious to 'get fit' - it's been a lot of years...a couple of kids, breast feeding, blahblahblah since I've been 'fit' - it was time...Statistics show that 8 out of 10 women are wearing the wrong sized bra...
I knew I was in that group, but I was pleased to know I wasn't as off as I thought I might be...
right size, wrong cup...
such is life...
One poor gal came in wearing a 40 something and walked out with a 34 something!
ACK!
I'll be honest, I'm one of those gals that Missy mentioned in one of her posts...the ones that shop for their bras while they shop for paper towels and Lucky Charms...(except I don't buy paper towels, but you get my point)
I just don't spend much money on myself these days...
but as one of the other gals recently put it...
Where else can you get a boob job for $80?
Me and a few of my best blogging buddies -
Nancy and Me...
Afterwards we all headed out for more eats, drinks and awesome conversation among friends...the only bummer was the long table, so I didn't get to visit with everyone like I would have liked!! We really do need to implement the speed dating system into these meet ups...
Definitely looking forward to next time...next time, when I'll be sporting my $64 boob job!

So glad your girls are getting the support they need now!!!

So cool! Awesome Missy display too :)
It was such a fun night. And I love the term "$64 boob job" I will have to use that in the future.
