I love being on the water and it looked like such fun...
When I saw one of those great one day only local deals boasting 50% off - I took advantage - hoping we'd be able to cross it off of our list...
One Saturday afternoon - we did just that...
The park in and of itself was great fun for the kids...
They loved the giant anchor...that was an actual anchor used back in the day - (what day? I have no idea...it was weeks ago and I barely remember what happened this morning much less remember what the engraving said...)
But that's about as far as the real fun went...
H was VERY hesitant to get on the boat...for some reason...she was terrified...
She need not have been scared...it was far from an exciting trip...
Well, some stuff was exciting...like the row team we saw ~
But the other things that caught my eye...
Well, not everyone finds the same things as I do interesting...

I don't know you guys...I wasn't impressed by this Summer Bucket List outing choice...
Did I do the wrong thing? Select the wrong cruise?
I had heard great things about it...and it sure sounds fun...
I'm just not so sure that this is worth the price of admission - even if we did get a deal on tickets~!

It is always hit and miss with boat cruises. We went on a dinner one that was SO worth it, but the one just to cruise along wasn't as much fun. It is so hard to know.
Mark and I did their lunch cruise two years ago and enjoyed it. I can see it being quite boring for kids though.
(My kids also enjoy the giant anchor, natch)
We had a Paddleford cruise as our rehearsal dinner for our wedding. That was awesome! Family, good food, the river on an awesome evening.
