And seeing as how Spring is just.around.the.corner...
It was time to upgrade to a tad bigger bike...
funny how last year their bikes were sooo big (for them!) and this year those same bikes are sooo small...
So...First Up...A brand new Princess Bike...
At least I thought it was new...Picked up this little Gem at the Goodwill a couple of months back - had it in the garage until now...it was in a box that looked like it had never been opened - stapled and taped shut... $25.00 it read on the tag...
only, do you see that giant green sticker across it that reads SALVAGE?
Yeah well, apparently that means there's a hole in the front tire and you won't be able to ride it...oh well, nothing a trip to the bike shop and $7.00 can't fix...
This one - oh how he loves to build things...
Both kids were happy to be helping...though I'm not exactly sure Daddy needed so much help...
Melts my heart...It also gives me some pangs of sadness knowing that D will never get to do any fun building with his Grandpa...
My Dad would have eaten D up...his love for all things tool - hammers, nails, drills, boards, building...
yep...birds of a feather...

Even with replacing the tire it is quite a steal! Very nice find for sure!
Adorable :)
