The weather has been unseasonably hot...but that doesn't stop us from doing the things we want to do...
Thankfully-our city, which lacks a single public pool, does offer some decorative fountains for cooling off in!
I let the kids cool off in the fountain after Burnsville's Fire Muster and Annual Fire truck parade took place last weekend... it was a hot one out there!!
And 'Monster Fire Trucks' according to D -
And I thought these spectators were pretty cool!
But so cool to see all the different types of 'rigs' that there were, and are!
Yep...a great day right here in our very own city! It's nice to do something at 'home' for once!

It was quite an emotional site to see the long line of fire trucks going past...
There were fire trucks of days gone by....
And 'Monster Fire Trucks' according to D -
Trucks displaying the American Flag on their grills...
And fire trucks with memorials on them...
We took in the parade with our friend and neighbor - a retired firefighter himself!
And I thought these spectators were pretty cool!
It was definately loud...
But so cool to see all the different types of 'rigs' that there were, and are!
