So I picked up a cute little pink tshirt for the little miss at Target the other day - it was on clearance for just $2 so I figured why not?
I took it out of the bag, show it to her and she looks at it - then me, and through somewhat clenched teeth says - "yeah, I love it!"
I say to her - "oh H I'm so proud of you for telling me that you love this shirt! That makes me really happy!" to which she honestly replies - "Yeah, but I don't really love it - I was just tellin' you that!"
At least I know she's getting the concept of the little white lie down! I've been working on her so as not to appear ungrateful and/or bratty upon opening gifts she may not love!
HA! It's working...sort of!
