Appreciate...

Well, it's been one of THOSE weeks - you know the ones - where nothing, but everything - just isn't going quite right? The kids are rambunctious and whiny and they aren't sleeping which means mom and dad aren't sleeping but you still have to go to work cuz you still have to pay the bills, oh, the bills! It's snowing in April when you thought it was supposed to be spring...oh how I need the spring...
Again, nothing, but everything just seems...not quite right ~

And then ~ you hear of yet another devastating event - an event that will change their lives, and now yours, forever - and you realize that the whining isn't a big deal - the sleepless nights aren't a big deal - the snow isn't a big deal - because you are together, you have each other. Yes, the kids are whining but ~ but you can reach out and hold them and maybe, just maybe, make it 'all better' ~ it may not be perfect but what is really? And does it even matter?
No - it doesn't!!

Please take a moment to hug your kids, you husbands, your wives, your neighbor today - and pray for this family - friends of a friend - who suddenly and unexpectedly lost their dear sweet little girl yesterday~ not that things are any easier when it IS expected ~ but please pray for Heather and Mike and those that love them and love little Maddie ~ that they might find the strength to get through the most difficult of days ahead. My heart breaks for them and their loss.
