GO WILD!

Ok, Ok...so I know my last blog post was a downer and for that I am sorry - it's just how I was feeling ALL WEEK and I wanted to share it with my blog readers!! If anything - maybe it will make everyone who reads my blog that much more thankful for the gifts in their life too! (I say this as I just get done watching Maria Wharam's 2008 Video for her Cystic Fibrosis fundraiser!! Maria is the niece of a classmate of mine from Gtown - her mom was a few years younger than me in school - Maria battles with CF and is an amazing little girl - check her out!!

Anyway - again, another reminder of just how lucky I am!! THANK YOU LORD!

So...on to the good stuff - how about those MN WILD!! We are ahead 2 games to 1 over the Colorado Av's in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs - they are playing tonight in Denver and it'd be nice to pick up another win - (all three of the games played thus far have gone to OVERTIME! ZOIKS what that does to me who needs to be in bed long before the games are over!!) We have had a ton of people asking us if we are going to the games, if we have tickets, etc etc.
The answer is yes, and no. Yes, we got our season ticket holder seats for the playoffs - NO, they were not included in the price - we had to shell out MORE MONEY for those money grubbers to get our hands on playoff tickets. As you all know - the playoff ticets are a hot commodity - people slept outside of the arena for two nights for a slim shot at getting a seat...
So...for that reason we have sold off the first three home games - I know I know - I hear it all over the place - WHY AREN'T YOU GOING TO THE GAMES?? The short answer is...MONEY! Yes, we have a little bit of money - not much - but a little - but when someone is willing to give you two-three-four times face value for your ticket - how do you turn that down?? So, we sold the first three games - if we head into a game 7 on Tuesday night rest assured Rob will be in his regular seat - who will be sitting next to him remains to be seen as I am sure he'd love to bring Ryan along instead of his boring old wife! *sigh* We'll see. For now...GO WILD!
